With its inviting front porch, flower boxes, gingerbread
decorations, "The Bungalow" is a perfect place for entertaining little friends.
With proper care, "The Bungalow" can become an heirloom that brings joy to your children- and later on to their children and grandchildren.
The size of "The Bungalow" is approximately 6' x 8', with an attached 3' x 8' porch, and the maximum height inside is almost 6'. The front porch is decked with individual planks, and the four-gable roof is covered with high-quality 20-year composition shingles.
The interior floor is covered with sheet vinyl for easy cleaning, and the standard trim package includes decorative "gingerbread" patterns and "flower boxes" for artificial flowers.
"The Bungalow" playhouse includes two boxed-out windows, and also
two small windows in the front wall. The boxed-out windows open to the inside,
and the small windows open to the outside. All windows are safety-glazed with
plastic, and latch securely when closed for protection from weather and animals.
The front and back doors open outward, with adjustable spring hinges to permit the doors to close automatically.
A built-in two-pedestal "desk" is included, with a shelf unit installed above it. Optional furniture is available to complete the interior decor, and a child-sized, old-fashioned swing hanging from a convenient nearby limb can extend the play space to the surrounding area. Child-sized outdoor furniture is also available for entertaining little friends in the yard.
Each "Bungalow" playhouse is individually hand-crafted, with unique trim and
finish. "The Bungalow" is normally painted with a primary color and contrasting trim
color on the outside, and
complimentary color on the inside. A wide range of color combinations
is available. The roof color is normally gray, green, tan or brown.
The "Bungalow" playhouse may be permanently installed on a small concrete slab or on concrete piers. Concrete blocks may be used if the site is level and if soil, drainage, and weather conditions permit, but direct contact with the ground is not recommended.
