"The Country House" has a very large and inviting front porch, that is large enough to
accommodate a child-size porch swing.
"The Country House" playhouse is available in a wide variety of options, colors, trim details, and many optional features are available to customize this playhouse to your particular needs and preferences. Appropriate landscaping with flower beds, stepping stones, and walkways, and accessories, such as an optional small picket fence, makes the "The Country House" playhouse the center of your children's private play world. If given proper care, "The Country House" can become an heirloom that brings joy to your children now...and later on to their children and grandchildren. |
The size of "The Country House" is approximately 6' wide and 12' deep, including the covered
4' x 6' porch, and the maximum height inside is almost 6'. The porch is decked with
individual planks. "The Country House" playhouse has two gables and two dormers, and is covered
with high-quality 20-year composition shingles. Available roofing colors include:
The interior floor is covered with sheet vinyl for easy cleaning, and the standard trim package includes decorative "gingerbread" patterns and "flower boxes" for artificial flowers. |
"The Country House" playhouse includes two boxed-out windows, and also
one small window in the back wall. The boxed-out windows open to the inside,
and the small windows open to the outside. All windows are safety-glazed with
plastic, and latch securely when closed for protection from weather and animals.
The front and back doors open outward, with adjustable spring hinges to permit
the doors to close automatically. Small decorative wooden "awnings" are included
above the windows in the front and back walls.
Each "The Country House" playhouse is individually hand-crafted, with unique trim and finish. "The Country House" playhouse includes a painted interior with applique decorations. The interior floor is covered with sheet vinyl for easy cleaning. The standard interior trim includes two applique decorations. Eight applique decorations are included in the standard exterior trim. The interior of the "The Country House" is very spacious. It includes a built-in two-pedestal "desk", with a shelf unit installed above it around the small window. Optional furniture is available to complete the interior decor, and a child-sized, old-fashioned swing hanging from a convient nearby limb can extend the play space to the surrounding yard area. Child-sized outdoor furniture is also available for entertaining little friends in the yard. "The Country House" playhouse is normally painted white with red trim color on the outside, and white or some other complimentary color on the inside. A wide range of color combinations is available. The roof color is normally black. Other color combinations are available. If you wish to select your own paint colors, you may send us color chips that we will "computer match" when we obtain the paint. "The Country House" playhouse may be permanently installed on a small concrete slab or on concrete piers. Concrete blocks may be used if the site is level and if soil, drainage, and weather conditions permit, but direct contact with the ground is not recommended. |

When "The Country House" playhouse is ordered, the trim and finish details are
discussed and specifications, and exterior drawings are prepared. Then
the playhouse is constructed as a completed unit at the Carpenter's Shop
facilities. Construction of "The Country House" playhouse requires
approximately six weeks.

The Carpenter's Shop can deliver "The Country House"
playhouse to locations within 500 miles of its facilities. Delivery beyond
that distance can be arranged through a trucking company. Delivery costs depend
on the playhouse model,the distance that the playhouse must be transported,
and the characteristics and accessibility of the site.
Relatively level and open access to the site with horizontal clearance of 8-1/2 feet and vertical clearance of 9 feet is required. |
