The "Loft Chalet" is a very large playhouse with an unusually high ceiling and a very large and
inviting front deck and entry way. The loft area over the entry way is large enough for several
children to play.
The Loft Chalet" playhouse is available in a wide variety of options, colors, trim details, and many optional features are available to customize this playhouse to your particular needs and preferences. Appropriate landscaping with flower beds, stepping stones, and walkways, and accessories, such as an optional small picket fence, makes the "Loft Chalet" playhouse the center of your children's private play world. The size of "The Loft Chalet" is approximately 9' x 12', including the 3' x 12' front deck
and covered 36" x 42" porch. The maximum height inside is almost 9'. The roof of
"The Loft Chalet" playhouse has two gables and is covered with high-quality 20-year composition
shingles. The pitch of the roof is very steep, providing a "cathedral ceiling" effect that is
almost 9' high over the main room, and headroom of almost 4' in the loft area. Available roofing

The interior floor is covered with sheet vinyl for easy cleaning, and the standard trim package includes decorative "gingerbread" patterns and "flower boxes" for artificial flowers. "The Loft Chalet" playhouse includes two boxed-out windows, and small windows in the front and back walls. The boxed-out windows open to the inside, and the small windows open to the outside. All windows are safety-glazed with plastic, and latch securely when closed for protection from weather and animals. The front and back doors open outward, with adjustable spring hinges to permit the doors to close automatically. Small decorative wooden "awnings" are included above the windows in the front and back walls. |

in the front wall, and two gable windows. All of the windows open to the outside and are safety-glazed with
plastic. The windows latch securely when closed for protection from weather and animals.

The "Loft Chalet" playhouse includes a painted interior with applique decorations. The interior floor is covered with sheet vinyl for easy cleaning. The loft area is spacious and overlooks the main room with its cathedral ceiling. The size
of the loft area is approximately 46" x 72" and it is reached by a ladder from the main room.
A sturdy railing provides protection on the open end of the loft, and adding a mattress and cushions makes the loft a perfect place for overnight stays. A gable window in the back of the loft opens outward for ventilation and provides a upstairs view of the surrounding yard area. The loft area overlooks the main room with its cathedral ceiling. An optional "kitchen" may be added that includes a functional sink with running water, a stove with lighted "burners", and a toy refrigerator with a light that turns on when the door is opened. |
The interior of the "The Loft Chalet" is very spacious. It includes a built-in two-pedestal
"desk", with a shelf unit installed above it around one of the small windows.
Optional furniture is available to complete the
interior decor, and a child-sized, old-fashioned swing
hanging from a convient nearby limb can extend the play space to the surrounding yard area.
Child-sized outdoor furniture is also available for entertaining
little friends in the yard.
Each "Loft Chalet" playhouse is individually hand-crafted, with unique trim and finish. "The Loft Chalet" is normally painted "Victorian yellow" or "water iris" with a contrasting trim color on the outside, and white or other complementary color on the inside. Other color combinations are available. The roof color is normally black or a soft amber-gray. If you wish to select your own paint colors, you may send us color chips that we will "computer match" when we obtain the paint. The "Loft Chalet" playhouse may be permanently installed on a small concrete slab or on concrete piers. Concrete blocks may be used if the site is level and if soil, drainage, and weather conditions permit, but direct contact with the ground is not recommended. |

discussed and specifications, and exterior drawings are prepared. Then
